Which server tablet fits your floor?
Both tablets run the same RestauNax software, carry an IP54 spill-resistant seal, and dock into the same charging bases. The real decision is screen size — how much menu a server needs to walk a table through — and how the tablet gets carried across the room.
Docking and charging decide whether a tablet survives a dinner service, not just a demo. A printing base turns either tablet into a full order-and-print station; a desktop or multi-function base keeps it topped up between seatings.

Server Tablets — Questions, Answered
It comes down to your menu and your floor. The 11-inch tablet is big enough to walk a table through a full menu or wine list. The 8.7-inch compact tablet is lighter and easier to carry one-handed through a tight or fast-moving room, like a bar or a small café floor.
It docks into a charging base between seatings — a desktop base at a service station, or a multi-function pivoting base mounted where servers pass by. A tablet that can't charge between seatings doesn't survive a full dinner service, so the docking ecosystem is built around that.
It turns either tablet into a full order-and-print station — drop it in and it prints a ticket or receipt on the spot, no separate printer needed at that station.
You can — RestauNax supports bringing your own device. What a purpose-built server tablet adds is a supported docking, charging, and mounting ecosystem and one configuration we fully support, rather than assembling your own. See our bring-your-own hardware option on the main hardware page for details.
No. The order pad is a smaller, lighter device for order entry only — no printer, no payment hardware. Server tablets are larger, dock into a shared charging and printing ecosystem, and are built for a full-service floor that wants a bigger screen and a station-style setup.
We don't publish hardware prices because every setup is different. Request a demo and we'll help you pick the right tablet size and docking setup for your floor.
